Men’s Captain
I am pleased to announce that the nomination from Ian Ashton for the position of Men’s Captain effective from 1 June 2022 has been confirmed. Colin Gould has advised that he will remain as Men’s Vice Captain. The confirmation of these positions will relieve pressure on the Board in the absence of a Club Captain, however, the necessity of filling the Club Captain position remains a priority.

If you are interested in this position and would like to talk to anyone about what is involved, please call the office on 6592 6154 or send an email through to info@pmgcgolf.com.au and someone will call you back.

Member’s Information Night -Monday, 23 May 2022 at 5.30pm
At this stage, we only have 30 members confirmed as coming along to Monday’s Information Session. We will need to change the seating layout in The 28th to accommodate all those members who wish to attend, so please email info@pmgcgolf.com.au to confirm your attendance.

Kind regards

12th May

To all members

As you are aware the club is in the process of upgrading its membership and golf management to MiClub Club Management software. Part of the upgrade required a change to the way the Club manages member’s access to the golf course via MiClub which has already been implemented. The scoring app MiScore is also being used by members. On Tuesday, 10 May MiMembership was implemented.

The introduction of the MiMembership module means that member accounts will be visible online in the member’s My Information section once you log in. Each member will have a Subscription, Prize and Cash account. Members will be able to see a full list of all transactions, payments, invoices and prize postings. Any points balance that was sitting against your account on 9 May has been moved across to the Cash account. These funds can be used at either the pro shop or in The 28th. Placement prize money from competitions are posted to the Prize Account along with the $5 ball prize.

The first automatic posting of prizes was undertaken by Chris McMullen at the close of the Women’s competition on Tuesday and it all worked as intended. Well done and thanks to Chris!

Membership subscription invoices
Subscription invoices will be emailed to members shortly. Members can use the link provided in the email to view, download and pay their invoice. The invoice provides 3 methods of payment:

1. Stripe – Stripe will allow members to pay with their credit card directly via the link in MiMembership. There will be a surcharge for the use of Stripe, similar to credit card payments made last year. Using this method will mean that member’s accounts are automatically updated.

2. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) – Members can pay directly into the Club’s bank account and the money will be receipted against their respective member account on the following business day. The details for payment via EFT can be found on the invoice.

3. Pay as You Golf – Visit the website www.payasyougolf.com.au to complete a paperless online application or contact their office on 03 9290 9211 and their friendly staff will be happy to assist you. There can be a delay of as much 21 days between signing up for this and the Club receiving your first payment so please sign up as early as possible. A member is considered unfinancial until such time as the money has been received. Please note resignations made before the end of the financial year will not receive a credit or refund and you will be required to continue payments through until the end of the financial year.

If you have any queries in relation to your membership invoice or are unable to use any of the above payment options, please contact Club administration on 6495 6154 between the hours of 10am-4pm Monday to Friday once you have received your invoice.

Members who have not paid their membership fees by 30 June 2022 will be immediately tagged as non-financial from 1 July 2022. This means you will lose access to the Member’s Section on the website, including the on-line booking system and will not be able to enter competitions. You will be required to pay green fees for golf until such time as your membership has been paid.

I would urge all members to ensure that they are paid up by 30 June 2022 and again stress the importance of this for those members who choose the Pay as You Golf option.

We appreciate there has been some inconvenience to members whilst the upgrade is being implemented. We continue to work hard to ensure that any problems are identified and dealt with as quickly as possible, but I would ask for your patience as the new processes and procedures are introduced.
